Welcome to the Dvarskas lab! Our research is focused on evaluating the socioeconomic connections between coastal natural capital assets and the communities that depend on them. This includes ecosystem services analysis and valuation, mapping of resource-dependent business and their vulnerability to coastal hazards, and evaluation of tradeoffs involved in economic development strategies.
