Mindful Leadership Based on Forgiveness

Enhance your leadership skills and promote personal and workplace wellness. In this two hour workshop, you’ll learn Dr. Fred Luskin’s techniques in managing stress and avoiding employee burnout to better address personal mental health needs and promote wellness in the workplace.

The 1981 Uniform Determination of Death Act (UDDA) sought to address the rising uncertainty regarding establishing death in an era of rapid medical advancement & development of advanced life-sustaining technologies. Despite overall acceptance of these criteria within healthcare, there are circumstances when medical, cultural, religious and ethical conflicts create moral distress and uncertainty surrounding the declaration of brain death for the family and the healthcare team alike.

The BRAtender Challenge is underway with ten establishments competing and helping to raise funds for breast cancer programs and services at the Cancer Center. Research on Periodontal Disease

The Department of Periodontology is seeking volunteers for a clinical research study. The purpose of this study is to evaluate a technique for reducing periodontal pockets. The study requires you come to the dental clinic for between 11 to 16 visits over 5 months. Research on Thumb Joint Arthritis
The Department of Orthopaedics is seeking volunteers for a clinical research study. The purpose of the study is to evaluate injection of an extended release steroid on reducing pain and improving function in the joint at the base of the thumb.
