SBU Genomics brings together researchers conducting functional genomics, and related research across multiple units of Stony brook University (SBU). Unifying these disparate fields is necessary for a better use of genomics data as a tool to answer important modern biological questions.
SBU Genomics is committed to provide state-of-the-art genomics technology to the SBU community, to build a strong coalition on campus-wide structural genomics, functional genomics and bioinformatics research, and to provide a cohesive training towards gaining a broad and deep understanding of Genomics and its application in very diverse research fields. It facilitates interaction, trouble-shooting and collaboration among genomics scientists at SBU.
