Research Experiences
SUNY at Stony Brook, Stony Brook, NY, 2016-Present
- Collaborate with professors, graduate and undergraduate students for research planning and refining
- Work on designing and constructing nano-device for study of drug on zebrafish
Zebrafish embryos are widely used as vertebrate models in scientific researches, especially for drug discovery, human disease modelling, and toxicology studies. Their properties of being translucent, highly reproductive, and rapid development has made zebrafish of great advantageous in conducting researches. In our experiment, zebrafish embryos are used to test in vivo physiological responses from drugs, by observing heart and vasculature changes under a light microscopy.
A nano-chamber is designed to hold the zebrafish embryos in a closed water system.
