Mollusk Diagnosis

Mollusk Diagnosis Activities

Besides service provided to the New York State government (see QPX Monitoring Page), our laboratory also provides diagnosis services to local governments (town hatcheries, etc.) and private aquaculturists. Processed samples sometimes include new pathologic conditions and these new findings are presented and discussed in professional and scientific meetings.

Our laboratory also provides bivalve (clams, oysters, scallops) health reports and shellfish certification needed for the importation/exportation of livestock. Please contact Allam if you need more information about our diagnosis activities and current rates.
