Updated with new URL for Stonybrook.edu calendar of events.
If you want to add the Stony Brook University Event Calendar to your Google Calendar, click on the carrot icon next to “Other Calendars” and choose “Add by URL”
In the URL field, paste the following URL (NOTE, STONYBROOK.EDU changed the calendar source, the URL has CHANGED):
http://calendar.stonybrook.edu/page/ical/?keywords=&category=&facility=?
And then click “Add Calendar”
The calendar will be added to your “Other Calendars” listing using the URL you entered as the name. You can change the name by clicking on the carrot icon next to the calendar name and choosing “Calendar Settings”
If the calendar is populated with content, you will know that it works!
Sweet! I didn’t think that url would work with the Add by URL feature. Good to know.
Thanks, Lane. The URL is slightly different from the URL generated by the calendar of events page. For the longest time, it actually didn’t work. Then randomly it was activated and my calendar was full of events!
