I am Ridhwan Mohammad, a senior majoring in Biomedical Engineering at Stony Brook University and currently enrolled in the 5 years BE/MS accelerated bachelors masters program. I am currently a research assistant at the Eric Brouzes’ lab of Droplet Microfluidics working on the project of Single Cell Encapsulation.

Stony Brook has been a great fit for me because of the diverse opportunities it can provide. Not only is it a great research university but it’s diverse student population has allowed me to meet and interact with people from all over the world. The reason why this is important to me is because I truly enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures and traditions.

In my free time, I love playing soccer, taking part in any sort of adventurous activities and travelling . I am also involved in various Community service work both on and off campus. I realized that helping people makes me happy. And that is pretty much what I live by, do whatever makes you happy as long as it does no harm to another.
