Back Story

Anthony is studying abroad in Stony Brook University where many of his friends are in his home country.

Anthony does not have many friends here on campus.

He is also very introverted and does not know where to meet new people.

 

Motivations

Anthony can use this app to use to find clubs and events that he is interested in. He can use it as a way to meet new people with similar interests as him

Anthony finds out about this app by local advertisements around campus in terms of flyers and also by word of mouth.

 

Frustrations

There is a site online where Anthony can find all the clubs on campus, however, it does not show where events or meetings are held. Additionally, the app has tags or favorites that Anthony can save for personal preference. He can also search clubs/orgs by category.

The fact that there are many clus means that Anthony might be overwhelmed by too many options to choose from.

 

Ideal experience

Anthony was able to quickly navigate through the app. It has a friendly user interface. He selected the category and browsed through many clubs. He favorited the clubs that he might be interested in based.

Anthony went to a dancing event that he saw on the app. He went to the event and met many people. He ends up meeting Linda and grabs lunch with her.
