One of the design considerations given was that the website should feel friendly and welcoming, but also have some feeling of fun and professionalism to it. The standard white and blue colors aim to try to capture that feel of professionalism and informative nature, while the pastel colors in B and D aim to provide a sense of calm and peace. Finally, the color in C is added to add some pop and flair whilst also being a color that is easy on the eyes.
