Typography Logo Rationale:

For the typography logo of Resell Method, I aimed to capture the essence of a modern, entrepreneurial brand focused on e-commerce education. The design uses bold, clean lines and symbols to visually communicate the brand’s core mission of helping users maximize profits through effective reselling strategies.

I selected Alumni Sans ExtraBold for its modern, bold, and authoritative look. This sans-serif font ensures the logo is easy to read, scalable, and impactful, reflecting the professional and tech-savvy nature of Resell Method. The font conveys trustworthiness and strength, essential for a brand offering education and resources to aspiring resellers.

The “L”s in “Resell” are stylized as upward-pointing arrows, symbolizing growth, profit, and forward momentum. I kept the “L”s recognizable to maintain readability and avoid making the design overly complex. For “Method”, I added a price tag on the letter “O” with a red cross-out line, mimicking a price reduction to represent reselling and finding deals. This symbolizes the core concept of reselling which is finding deals, reducing prices, and making a profit. 

I added two small diamonds before the “R” in “Resell” to subtly reference the brand’s dynamic and forward-thinking approach. The diamonds provide a modern, geometric element that complements the overall clean and bold design without feeling overwhelmed

The color palette was carefully selected from our previous assignment to reflect the brand’s professional and trustworthy identity. The use of blue tones convey reliability and trust, while the gray elements add neutrality and balance. The bright red cross-out adds emphasis and energy to the logo reinforcing the urgency of deals and sales within the reselling market.

Overall, the logo is simple, bold, and flexible, which works well across different platforms allowing for easy recognition. By combining modern sans-serif typography with symbols like arrows, price tags, and diamonds, it captures both the practical side of reselling and the educational focus of Resell Method.

For headlines and buttons, I went with Alumni Sans ExtraBold to keep things bold, modern, and attention grabbing. It helps key elements stand out while maintaining a clean and professional feel that reflects Resell Method’s brand.

Bitter SemiBold was chosen for subheads to create a smooth transition between sections. It offers a nice contrast to the headlines, ensuring readability while giving a structured, approachable look to the text hierarchy.

I chose Barlow Semi Condensed Regular in the body copy to ensure clean, readable paragraphs. It keeps the text compact yet highly legible, making it ideal for longer content without overwhelming the reader.

For captions, I used Nunito Sans Regular to bring a lighter, more relaxed feel. Its rounded forms help soften the overall design, adding an approachable tone to smaller text elements like descriptions or footnotes.
