For my client Park’s martial arts I wanted to simplify their previous logo. I made the figure in the middle much simpler almost resembling a character from an Asian language. The blue and red represent authority and impact, themes that tie into Martial Arts very well. I also chose blue and red since they are also the colors of the Korean flag. Tae Kwon Do’s country of origin. The two brush like strokes mirror each other again, similar to the Korean flag. Everything is centered around circular shapes and paths. This is suppose to represent community, something that separates my client out specifically.
