This is a railroad museum located at the former LIRR turntable in Oyster Bay, NY. The mission is to preserve the history of rail transportation on Long Island. The museum has a collection of LIRR artifacts including locomotives, railcars, and signals. The museum has restored the turntable to operational status and offers rides to visitors on it. The Oyster Bay station house, once used by former President Teddy Roosevelt, contains various exhibits. The museum is open to visitors on weekends.
