The idea behind this exercise is to explore how animation can be used to engage users on a web site or in an application. It could be a splash screen that welcomes users to a site, or animated elements such as a logo or icons that add dynamics to an application.
I chose to animate a loading page/splash screen.
Since the splash screen animation was only around 2-3 seconds and the rubric mentioned 3-5 seconds as sufficient, I wanted to animate a pixelated loading bar as well. The speed is not consistent throughout, and this is intentional (in real life, loading bars tend to lag at certain stages in loading data).
The video that I exported from Google Web Designer was 720×960 px.
Here is the screenshot of the directory.
