Typography

For the type design, I decided to go with Prince Tea House again. I wanted a font that incorporated calligraphy script elements to represent the fanciness of their teas and desserts. I believe this is the perfect choice because it has a brush-like feel, curved and slightly connected letters, and a thick enough line weight to be legible and scalable. The rounded nature and boldness of the letters also makes it seem like the fun and welcoming place that the client wants to offer. In addition, the brush appearance seems to resemble the frosting used in sweets, especially the white text on the purple cup. Finally, I used elements (yellow crown, green tea leaves, and general color scheme) from my Prince Tea House logo to further drive home the kind of service/product that they want to deliver.
