About this typography:

Building on the logo I created for Boardwalk Games Inc., I decided to make the Typography simpler yet more fun.

This includes:

• choosing interesting textures like the rough wooden plank feel of “Boardwalk” and the smooth wooden feel of the scrabble tiles in “Games.”
• simple and concise colors such as brown to represent the brown of the Port Jefferson boardwalk, the tan of a real Scrabble tile, as well as simple black to finish the typography off with a clean and elegant look.
• consistency with the logo via another Chess piece in the place of letter.
