About the Designs:

I kept a consistent logo in the middle top of the screen with three icons on the top right of the screen.

Home Page

I wanted the home page to have a slideshow of pictures from the Boardwalk Games Inc. store. Under the slideshow, there should be a warm and welcoming greeting to patrons of the company. Since they recently changed locations, I made sure to have their new address on the home page along with their hours of operation.

Contact Us Page

For this screen, customers can ask questions regarding available games and/or physical store information. In order to send a query, one must enter one’s name, email and message.

Shopping Page

This was the most difficult page to make due to its complexity. I wanted to make the shopping page fun and unique. I looked at a few games that I knew and I chose the property cards of Monopoly Deal. So, I decided to mimic the Monopoly Deal property cards by listing the number of players for a game in the top left circle that usually states the value of a property, displaying the game name where the property name is usually located, and stating the prices for the base game, expansions and full set prices where the 1, 2, and full set property rent values are normally listed. I also made sure that each card matched the color and look of a property card in Monopoly Deal. Since that left a lot of blank space, I added a list of all the selected items to the right of this page with the price breakdown as well as a button for checkout.

Mobile Device (Portrait Mode)

I took an iPhone and altered how the Contact Us page would look on a mobile device. Instead of showing the icons on the top right corner of the page, I placed the 3 dots at the bottom of the screen so that the mobile user could swipe left and right to navigate between screens (home, contact us, and shopping).
