I’ve chosen to have a slight slant/italicize the words “SWE” because I think it gives a professional but aesthetic look. Having a font style that is at 90 degrees angle seems quite rigid (like Times New Roman).

For the first one, I chose to put each letter in each gear because I felt it makes the gears connect the letters together in a fun, creative way. I still am playing around with possible changing up the colors of the gears but I think the letters stand out well with the lighter color gears. (This is also in the logo page) For the second one, I went with a more simplistic approach that stated what the letters stand for and focused on just three colors: purple, yellow and black. I also chose to make the “Society of Women Engineers” stick within the size of “SWE” because it keeps a consistent frame for the words and balances a large font and smaller font.
