Game UI

I wanted to make a game that would be a side-scrolling RPG, somewhat reminiscent of older titles such as Castlevania but with the art style of newer games like Terraria, which is why I chose to go with the pixelized theme with rough sprites and icons. I also think the font choice for the title menu fits quite well here, as it is very similar to the font used for Terraria, and I feel gives it the right sort of look and feel for this kind of game.

The UI should be pretty self-explanatory and easy to understand, with the consumable items shown in a bar on the bottom, the player’s worn equipment on the middle right, health and special bar on the top left, and the mini-map on the top right.
