Color Palette:
I chose the neutral gray colors #BFBFBF, #9DA1A3, and #212121 to provide readability for text. Next, I chose the burgundy color #570111 to showcase the bold events hosted by the club, such as the annual Fashion Runway. Lastly, I chose the darker yellow color #D2A659 to be an accent color, which helps add a high fashion feel to the brand.
I also created a moodboard for the Fashion Club at SBU. I chose to include aspects such as the burgundy and muted yellow colors from the above color palette, an image of a runway to highlight the club’s most popular event, and different aspects of creating outfits such as sewing and thrifting (which are related to events Fashion Club hosts). I also chose to highlight the different fonts I will be using. Lastly, I included the image saying “bold, brave, and beautiful” because that is exactly what Fashion Club represents and wants their members to feel.
