Below are my icons in black and white and in color. I chose to create a Home icon (to show when users are on the home page), a Contact Us icon (to direct users to the page containing email information), a Gallery icon (to take users to the gallery page where photos of previous events are displayed), and a Calendar icon (to direct users to the events page where they will see a calendar containing the dates of upcoming events). I created the icons in Inkscape and used the main burgundy color #570111 and yellow accent color #D2A659 from my color palette. I used a grid to help the icons be uniform in size as well as had them share a consistent ground of a white square background.
