For my type logo, I chose to use the high-contrast serif font Playfair Display, which I obtained from Google Fonts. I decided on Playfair Display in Semi-Bold because it underscores the classy and elegant nature of Fashion Club, while also highlighting the club’s bold nature. I also elongated the text vertically to enhance the luxurious feel and used burgundy #570111 as the color for the text. For both the subheading and body copy text, I used the gray color #212121 for legibility and clarity. The subheading used the font Montserrat in Semi-Bold to create a hierarchy and draw the viewer’s attention before the body copy but after the main type logo. For the body copy, I chose to use Montserrat in Normal to make it easy for viewers to read through the information that will be present on my site.
