I am using the impact font to communicate importance and a level of professionalism. The underscoring text is Myriad Pro. The idea is to present a collegiate feel for the club, as it is a chapter club for Stony Brook. I interleave the colors of the organization throughout the typography and create a slant to give a feel of dynamism. There is an inherent collegiate feel to the logo, but also a sense of spirit and professionalism. The outlining of the letters and the angular slant suggest a feeling of progress, and the rectangular bar underneath the letters suggests a sense of officialness.

I used Acumin Variable for the header to create a sense of clearness and legibility. The thin nature of the font contrasts well with the large size. I used Minion Variable for the body to create a sense of professionalism within the body of the text.
