Rationale: This hand-drawn font evokes a feeling dedication put into creating homemade  and handmade things. Since the RM logo is shaped like a heart, this motif is carried throughout the rest of the graphics, as seen in the apostrophe of “Robin’s” and as the dot to the “i” in “Makerie” for cohesion. There are intentionally no straight lines in this font, as the curved lines are meant to be welcome. The juxtaposition between the print and cursive symbolizes a fusion between manual and digital making that my portfolio shows. For example, I make projects using both traditional sewing methods but also with the more modern laser cutting techniques.
