This is the typography for the game developer studio, Bend Studio. Bend is passionate about creating games, such as Days Gone, for their enthusiastic fanbase of gamers of all ages.
The most prominent feature of the typography is the “N” within Bend’s logo. The “N” is part of a cable which connects to a video game controller, reminding everyone of their fans that they focus on making video games, above all else. A large, blocky type called “Staatliches” from Google Fonts is chosen to be the main type face to impart the idea that they are a bold, rising figure in the game development industry thanks to the fans that buy and support their games. A little arrow is appended to the end of the wire, party because the typography of the “N” would seem lacking without any unique touch added to the end. A double arrow seemed appropriate because it demonstrates that the company is always moving forward with big ideas and big games to exceed the expectations of their fans.
