Infographic

Rationale: As with the past few projects, I’m trying to keep a consistent theme in terms of content and style. I created a resume infographic as a way to advertise my portfolio (the QR code at the top right of the infographic would link to my portfolio once it’s complete). Infographics generally feature some type of graph, but resumes generally lack quantitative data. To get around this, I decided to incorporate my software skills as a bar graph. I used the brushes to carry through the same theme of my original logo. The rest of the information on my resume was more qualitative, so I was somewhat limited in how I could depict it. I choose paint buckets for the classes and an easel for the past clients, because it pairs well with the overarching theme of the graphic. I used a different color for the “contact” section as I wanted it to stand out so that it’s easily noticed by the reader (as it’s probably the most important information in the graphic). I used a paper airplaneĀ  for the graphic because it’s associated with the travel of information, and it’s more playful (and fitting with the theme), than something like an envelope or phone. I also thought the arrow-like shape would help draw the reader’s attention.
