Brief synopsis of the client’s services or products and the stakeholders they serve: Avish is currently the Vice President of the Stony Brook Computing Society (SBCS). SBCS is an organization that aims to support students in the Computer Science major or students who are interested in related technical fields. They do so by holding a variety of events that help club members grow personally and professionally as well as by fostering a close-knit community. On their Discord server, SBCS posts programming questions for members to work together and prepare for interviews, and provides an opportunity for members to ask for advice and interact with others in the club. In addition, SBCS organizes corporate and career events, such as company tours, the IT/CS & Engineering Networking Mixer, and alumni coffee chats. Other events include the Student-Professor Luncheon, a LaTeX workshop, and Geek Games. Many of these events are held in collaboration with the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, the Computer Science department, other clubs, and tech companies.

Brief synopsis of the client’s services or products and the stakeholders they serve: Joyce is the Vehicle Dynamics System Leader of Stony Brook Motorsports. Stony Brook Motorsports is an engineering design team that is open to any student interested in developing skills in design, manufacturing, electronics, and business. Students of any major can participate and no experience is required. Students learn from more experienced team members how to design, build, test, and race an off-road vehicle. At the end of the year, the team organizes a trip to race their off-road vehicle in the Baja SAE competition against hundreds of colleges around the world.
