The purpose of this assignment is to develop a web-based UI program for your client. The UI program should feature graphics (such as a logo, icons, or display typography); text about the agency, product, or service; photographs, and possibly video and other content.
How will you tell the story? What will be your focal points? How will your layout organize the content to make it both accessible and engaging for the user? How will you tie everything together thematically?
Two possible approaches to the development of the web-based app are Google Web Designer and Mobirise. Choose the one that best reflects your content.

Move the folder you create for this assignment to Google drive, and link to the folder from your documentation (share with uidev@cs.stonybrook.edu). When your site is updated, confirm the update by emailing the URL to uidev@cs.stonybrook.edu, with “Website” in the subject line.
Rubric
1. Followed the instructions:
• Multipage web site was uploaded as specified above (minimum 4 screens), and a link to the files was emailed to uidev@cs.stonybrook.edu.
2. Met the design criteria:
• Site has an engaging theme and narrative, appropriate to target audience and client.
• All the elements work in support of the narrative (graphics, type, color).
• Content is broad and extensive (photos, comprehensive text, other assets – such as a calendar or map).
• Site incorporates dynamic media (video/audio, animation, slideshow, etc.)
• Web site layout should respond in some way to changes in the aspect ratio of the viewport.
• Navigation and controls are easy to find and identify, but are not redundant.
• UI is consistent across screens.
• White space is used effectively. Cognitive overload is minimized.
• Good technical execution (sharp clean graphics, legible typography)
That’s 10 criteria, or approximately 1 point each.
