Character Design

This is my Character design. For this project, My idea was centered around a racing game, but different that a pure speed racing game – one where you can enjoy the entire ride to the finish line. Character-wise, there would be different styles of cars available for the user to choose from. Each car will have a performance average in speed, control and aerials. Speed defines how fast a car will go. Control is the users ability to control the car easily. And aerials define how much the car is adept at aerial tricks. Starting out, the default cars will have drastically different advantages in these 3 fields, for example – A car will be very fast but will be very hard to control.

In order to get more cars, the user will need to get high scores, which can be done through getting coins or performing aerial tricks.

Level Design

This is a level design. This displays a level in this game. Here we can see a car going along a track, riding along bumps. The car would be able to jump, and perform tricks in the air, however, if a crash occurs, or the car lands upside down, it would be game over, so it is a risk that the user takes. There are also coins along the track that the user can use to spend on improving their car.
