This is my First Person Shooter game called SHATTERED. The target audience demographic is adults. The UI is meant to be simplistic to not pull the user away from the story of the game. The game is a single-player FPS where a soldier is reliving past events of his life in pieces unable to piece them together. This game dives into the soldier’s struggle with PTSD and may include a slight sci-fi twist as you learn about the soldier’s past. Included in the UI is an ammo count along with the type of ammo, a health meter, and a compass at the top. These features are included to make the user’s experience more enjoyable even though it may take away from the realism of the game. Additionally, an objective bar is included so the user doesn’t lose track of what they are doing. Finally, I included a basic inventory screen so the user can equip different items they find or leave other items behind.
