Title:

“Lucky’s Adventure”

Synopsis:

This will be a short animation showing a black cat chasing around a toy in an abstract landscape. The environment will be colorful, consisting of many brightly colored cubes floating in a white plane. The camera will be dynamic, moving around and following the cat. As the cat runs around, sound effects play when the cat jumps or the toy bounces, and energetic music will be playing.CSE334 Project Description (2)  

At the end of the video, it zooms out and shows that this is happening inside of the sleeping cat’s dream. The cat will be sleeping in a cat bed.

Objective:

To use computer animation and audio to tell an entertaining short story. The audio will provide background music, as well as sound effects to give weight to the cat’s movements. A 3D model of a black cat will be created, as well as a model of a toy ball for the cat to chase. A blocky environment will be created for the cat to run around in, as well as a simple cat bed where the cat will be laying at the end of the video.

Audience:

Anyone could enjoy this animation, but it might more specifically cater to children.
