The Vessel

Synopsis:

The Vessel is a monumental piece of architecture built as part of the Hudson Yard Redevelopment Project in Manhattan, NY. It was built by British designer Thomas Heatherwick and is designed to look akin to a honeycomb hive that rises 16 stories high with 154 flights of stairs.

Objective:

To use graphics in the form of photographs, video, and animation to illustrate one of the newest structure to be added to NYC. Audio will be used as background music and a 3D model of The Vessel will be built based off various pictures, videos and blueprints.

Audience

The expected audience watching this will likely be people around the ages of 18 and up. Architecture appeals more to the mature audience than the younger one.
