Title:
“Running Towards Perfection”
Synopsis:
There is more to the sport of running than meets the eye. Racing, as a sport, began in ancient Greece 2,700 years ago. Since then, dedicated athletes have worked to find the form and techniques that optimize one’s ability to run faster. The increasing amount of knowledge of the human body and countless athletes’ determination in testing limits have provided many individuals with the insights and inspiration they need to become great runners too.
Objective:
To use computer graphics, video, and animation to depict proper running form and the techniques that have proven to optimize a runner’s speed and prevent injury.
Audience:
The intended audience for this video would be grade school and high school athletes, specifically track and cross country runners, training to run faster.
