The motivation behind this picture was conveying my interests in a concise manner. For one, the format is a rap album cover, which is my favorite genre of music. It’s a play off some artwork related to Kid Cudi, who I listened to a lot when I was younger. Also pictured is Mario, and I’ve played a lot of Nintendo games. Another key interest of mine is basketball which is symbolized by the sun in the corner. I put a filter on my face because I think that it matched the theme of the picture the best.
