Title:
The Scientific Breakdown of Spider-Man’s Web Shooters

Synopsis:
Spider-man is one of the most well-known heroes of the Marvel Universe. There are iterations of his character that can biologically shoot webs or have him shooting webs using mechanical web shooters. This animation short will focus on how Spider-Man was able to create his synthetic spider silk and how he was able to create his mechanical web shooters that allowed him to use his synthetic spider silk.

Objective:
To use animation and video to visually show the science behind Spider-Man’s web shooters. Audio will provide the explanation of the visuals and background music. A 3D model of his web shooters will be built. Clips from either a Spider-Man movie or TV show will be used as a demonstration of his we shooters in action.

Audience:
High school Marvel fans who have an interest in science and engineering who have a curiosity as to whether the science and technology in the Marvel Universe can be applied to the real world.
