Title: The Eiffel Tower

Synopsis: The Eiffel Tower is an iconic landmark of Paris. Since its building completion for Paris’ World Fair in 1889, it has captured architectural, aesthetical, cultural, and tourist wonder. It attracts 7 million visitors a year and has appeared frequently in pop culture references like movies, tv shows, and songs. 

The construction of the Eiffel Tower has a rich history. The creator of the Eiffel Tower, Gustave Eiffel, was inspired by his work and lessons from metal viaducts. The landmark was an architectural feat with its record-setting construction time and continued to be a place of achievement as a laboratory, broadcaster, and culture setter.

Objective: The objective is to explore the history, architecture, and impact of the Eiffel Tower.  Blender will be used to model The Eiffel Tower. The structure fly-through will include section-by-section historical and architectural context. A famous song about the Eiffel Tower, “Y’a de la Joie”, will be placed in the background. 

Audience: The target audience is high school or undergraduate students who are interested in history, architecture, and understanding the rationale behind design decisions.
