Project Name: “The Trebuchet”
Project Description: A trebuchet is a catapult variant made to lay siege to castles and palaces during the Middle Ages. It saw use in both East Asia and Europe during 1000AD-1500AD and demonstrated an early but effective understanding of basic physics and large-scale engineering.
Objective: Employ 3D visualization to illustrate the key components of a basic trebuchet and how they functioned together successfully. This visualization will also highlight its historical significance in past empires.
Audience: Those interested in military history as well as students focusing on mechanical engineering.
