Title:
“Just a Monkey and His Banana”
Synopsis:
This animation follows a monkey character who is strolling around and stumbles upon a delicious, yellow banana on the ground. The monkey happily picks the banana up, eats it, and randomly throws the peel away onto the ground. The monkey spots another banana from afar, and it happily walks over to the new banana. However, the monkey slips on the first banana peel, which leads to the monkey hitting its head on the ground and getting knocked out. The monkey enters a dream state/bubble that depicts themself strolling around and stumbling upon a delicious, yellow banana on the ground. (Loop starts again).
Objective:
This animation is intended to entertain the audience with a sense of comedic relief. The monkey character slipping on the banana peel is a time-old classic. Typically, characters in cartoons would slip on banana peels, which would be seen as humorous. In mainstream video games, Mario Kart incorporates the banana peel as an item that leads to users slipping in-game.
Audience:
This animation is targeted towards people of all ages and demographics. The animation is intended to be used as comedic entertainment, which should not be limited to a viewer’s age, race, religion, and more. Just like Tom and Jerry, a cartoon show that uses a lot of senseless violence between characters, “Just a Monkey and His Banana” is intended to be a similar sense of animation.
