This is a still-life of my ukulele character and the palm tree on the beach. I used a bright sun at the top to highlight the sunny days. I also added some blue light to compliment the yellow light and bring more depth to the scene. The ukulele also has some coloring in the face to make it look more human. For example, the hole was drawn to look like an eye. The bottom strings were colored in like lips. Both the ukulele and the tree have a wood texture done via bump map, and the sand and sky are textured using pre-made images. I am excited to bring this character to life, and I want to possibly add more props and color to the scene.
