Storyboard

The storyboard doesn’t contain narrative as there will be no person talking. The story will be supported by the audio that progresses as the story continuing to develop. The overall idea of the animation is to begin with a dark room that slowly lights up to a room with computer desk and a mouse. Story then move focuses to the mouse itself. The character mouse is acting like an animal mouse moving around on the desk. Following a human trying to hand down on it, and finally clicking on it. Making the “Squeak” sound in the end.

Character Sheet

The Character: Computer Mouse

The computer mouse is alive and moves on it’s on when the room is dark and no human is around. Think it as one of the toy’s Andy owns in Toy Story. In this case, it’s a computer mouse that we move and click on everyday. Imagine that they’re an actual animal, and moves super fast back to the mouse pad when human returns. It can also make a “squeaking” sound when first clicked!

To keep the character realistic, it will look exactly like a computer mouse. I didn’t include the cable (animal scaly tail) for two reasons. One being that it restricts the movement of the character, that how far it can move depends on the length of that cable. Which in real world, an animal mouse can move anywhere it wants. Another reason, is to show that it’s a wireless mouse to catch up with the modern technology.

Character will be shaded like hamster, part darker fur, part light fur, and part mix of both.
