Synopsis:

The video shows the creation of a basic synthesizer patch, with text describing each stage of the process. The “character” is a model based off the Moog Model D, and would show how twisting the knobs changes the sound. The process starts with the oscillator generating a basic waveform, then the waveform is send through a low pass filter, and the low pass filter is modulated with a low frequency oscillator. The video ends with a quick tune made with the synthesized sound.

Audience:

The audience is anyone interested in learning about synthesis, as it is a very basic demonstration focusing on the fundamentals. It is accessible to people with no prior knowledge of synthesizers.
