Below is my self portrait, I wanted to create a dramatic image with strong shadows and high contrast so I went with a black and white theme. The pose and highlights on the face make it appear like a light source is coming from above, I wanted to create the idea of being abducted by aliens because I enjoy Sci-Fi movies and as a kid I never really thought I belonged on this planet. I grew up in Staten Island which is why I am trying to escape the cityscape.
