Title: “Wanderlust”
Brief Synopsis:
Throughout life, people continue to go through new experiences that add color and meaning to their lives. The term wanderlust refers to the ongoing wish to explore different places. The goal of this project is to encourage people to push pass their comfort zones and venture into new opportunities. Through a first-person point of view, the person will start off in a sheltered environment that is dull colored signifying the feeling of being stuck in a constant boring cycle. Then after walking through a doorway, their surrounding becomes filled with color demonstrating the rush that comes with pushing yourself to try new things. The perspective then changes to a third-person point of view where the audience finally sees the actual protagonist in their new environment.
Story:
At home, through a first-person point of view, the protagonist stares at her clock that continues to tick on her desk. She looks around for something interesting to do as the ticking of the clock continues to be heard. She continues to stare blankly back at her desk. After a while, she looks toward the lit-up doorway on the left side of the room. Intrigued by the brightness, she walks towards it, bringing her to a widespread meadow with the sun shining on her face. She looks around with excitement as the audience’s perspective changes to a third person perspective. Thus, showing the grass environment around her without the original house in sight.
