3D – Still
Deciding on how to do the wolf was a bit of a challenge because of it’s body shape and where the muscles of it’s body would go. I decided to make the front chest area the biggest part of the wolf since that’s generally the bigger area since they need both that upper body strength for it’s legs so the front legs are bigger than the back legs.
The Next trickier part was how to color the wolf. I tried adding furs and hair in blender and even applied physics on to it and combed it but it did not look like a genuine wolf, it looked like a fuzzy monster. I decided on talking it out and was back to square one with deciding what color I should make the wolf. I’ve looked online to see a couple of references online to see the color of a wolf and found that most of the time the color coincides with their environment so I decided to make the color of the wolf a dirty/yellowish/brown spots color since it’s relative towards the environment
Last part is deciding whether to make the wolf sharp and edge like it is now or smooth it out but I felt as if the sharpness gave it a unique personality and sorta made it seem more menacing perhaps.
