I really had fun with this assignment because prior to this and the photo gallery assignment, I had no experience what so ever with photoshop and I always enjoy learning new things so I was excited to see this was the outcome of all my hard work. Photoshop was tricky at first, having to get use to all the layers that can make up a photo. Believe it or not the background space screen in the back is not just one single screen but its 8, I wanted the stars to come out so I had to do some moving with the same 8 parts rearranging them differently. Although planning for this assignment I decided first to make a ocean sky photo but the way I was positioned in this photo I felt like hey, maybe I can be on the moon. Credit goes to my girlfriend who took the photo and went with me to the marina in cold weather.

The theme I wanted to convey in this assignment is exploration. I always wondered about the things we, as people, didn’t have much detail regarding such as the ocean, UFOs, and the supernatural. Nothing makes me more curious than outer space. Seeing how there’s talks about moving into another planet and ways of how we as the human race can sustain ourselves. Not only that but space is consistently growing larger and expanding by the second, isn’t that just crazy?
