Project Synopsis
“The Wyvern”
Synopsis
Wyverns are a type of dragon often seen in medieval art and are often found in local European folklore. Unlike dragons, Wyverns are described to only have two hind legs, as well as bat-like wings, and a powerful scorpion-like tail.
Objective
To use graphics, video, and animation to create a 3D model of a Wyvern and re-create how the creature would often terrorize villages in Western folklore. There is a lot of available audio related to dragons from popular media that I hope to use, as well as lots of dragon/wyvern creatures from popular mythology and media I can use as reference in creating it.
Audience
The audience would primarily be undergraduate students that have a general interest in mythology and monster movies.
