It was very difficult to make this look realistic. Initially I modelled it after my own hand, however there are some issues with that. The image that I used as a background image here was effectively a 3d model, but since it’s a picture there is some distortion going on before I even start modeling.

After modelling the initial model, I have to redo the entire thing. It looked far too unnatural. I consulted a youtube guide to modeling a hand, and made it look more realistic. Further modifications were made later on.
