Hi! My name is Aakriti Hariprakash. I am currently in the MS Biomedical Engineering program at Stony Brook University, NY. I earned my Bachelor’s degree at Vellore Institute of Technology, India in Biotechnology.

I am interested in developing and using technology to better understand core cell biology mechanisms, and then applying those principles to design better therapeutics. More specifically, my interests lie in quantifying the protein and gene expression of immune and stem cells – which is the basis of my current work under Dr. Jun Wang. I want to further explore immune and stem cell engineering by pursuing a PhD after I finish my Master’s.
