eLife Community Ambassador

As a part of the eLife Publications Community Ambassador Program 2022, I get to talk to other early career stage researchers (ECRs) across the world. For the past year, we’ve also had the opportunity to interact with experts in interesting areas like global science policy, meta-research, the peer review process, diversity in academia and more. Bonding with this community of ECRs across the globe has been eye-opening. I will be working over the next year on the Global Science Policy Network, created to bridge the gap between scientific research output and public policy.

Graduate Coordinator of Student Media

I also work in the Student Media Services on campus! I joined this department recently, in October 2022. I help the media organizations on campus along with the radio station with planning and organizing their events. I also act as a liaison between the Student Media and the Graduate Student Organization.
