- One of many movies that were about the conflict between the Shaolin Temple and the Wudang school. This movie centers on two Shaolin fighters Tung Chien-Chen, and Hu Wei-Chen, and their feud with the Wudang.
- The movie takes place during the burning of the Shaolin Temple. It’s a folklore film.

- They eventually return to the temple to train so they can defeat 5 Qing Generals. The film is a folklore piece about the 5 elders who survived the burning.

- An alliance of warriors is challenged by the 5 Element Ninjas. They are all killed in the bloodiest combat.
- Movie quote “His guts are all over the place”.
- This film wanted to capitalize on the Ninja craze of the 80’s, by giving the story a Chinese backdrop.
- The Ninjas successfully kill the first group of Chinese warriors using the 5 Elements, (metal, wood, water, fire, earth) They are later defeated by Chinese fighters who knew the secrets to defeating the 5 Elements. This was a very bloody movie.

- This film was one of the most popular Shaw Brothers films here in America when it was played on Television back in the 1980’s. The story itself was exciting, but purely fiction, and the styles that were represented were also made up. There is a snake snake style of martial arts but it is totally different from the one portrayed in the movie.
Martial Club
- This film is about the real life character of Wong Fei Hung. The story itself is fiction. It’s about two rival schools, and how one schools tricks a top martial artists to fight Wong Fei Hung. The interesting thing about this movie is that no one dies in it, which is rare for a Shaw Brothers martial arts film.
