ACLF is also a disease that progresses quickly, with 25% of patients dying within 1 month of being diagnosed and 40% dying within 3 months [2]. Therefore, it is critical to treat ACLF as soon as possible, preferably before 1 month post-diagnosis in order to increase chances of survival.
